Freddie and his wife Leah own and operate Sky Cruise Hot Air Balloon Adventures here in Central Oregon. Freddie started his airplane flight training at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in AZ, continued flying in the Hawaiian Islands, and finished up his ratings here in Bend, OR. In addition to His Commercial Hot Air Balloon rating he also holds Commercial Airplane, Certified Flight Instructor / Instrument Instructor, and Advanced Ground Instructor certificates. Freddie was working as a flight instructor while finishing a B.S. in Aeronautical Science, when he read an article about becoming a balloon pilot. His first time in a balloon was his first lesson and before that flight was finished, he knew that he was hooked.
